Apropos of nothing, I went to school with the mum of the girl pictured in the Travelwest advert on the back of that bus.
While having the perfect features to be "on the back of a bus", I can only claim to have been displayed on the side of one.

Some are born famous, some acquire fame and some have fame thrust upon them... but these count for nothing when others can bask in the halo of posting on a forum where someone went to school with the mum of the girl on the back of the bus!

Lest people think it was a "Have you seen this man?" appeal, perhaps you'd care to elaborate...

The BBC» report had a picture of a 777 originally but it has now been removed. The same plane did Düsseldorf-London City-Edinburgh-London City-Düsseldorf yesterday so it seems it may have been operated on the Sunday timetable

Except that's not a 747 in the photo. 747s and A380s are probably the only aircraft types I can identify these days. Everything else just looks the same to me.

They have changed the photo! I think that's an A320 now. Getting closer...

From Eastern Daily Press (Motoring)Sheringham Railway Station remains shut while new platform is installed Greater Anglia has closed the station until Sunday, May 5 for the £1m+ project, which will see a new 80 metre platform put in to accommodate the next generation of trains, which are arriving this year. The new platform will be twice the length of the current 40-metre structure, allowing the longer, three or four-carriage 'bi-mode' trains to fit in there.

Have they got the wrong Sheringham. North Norfolk rather than Greater Anglia?

I think thats what Grahame was hinting about....... The photographer only needed to turn 180 degrees to get a picture of the station that IS being replaced! https://www.northnorfolknews.co.uk/news/station-approach-resurfacing-delayed-1-5387424

Appropriate picture in a follow up article which reports a delay of about a fortnight in reopening. Two weeks doesn't seem all that long a delay if you compare it to Berney Arms ... Sheringham train station and platform will remain closed until Thursday, May 16, after a fault was discovered with a batch of beams
