The University of Bristol has announced plans to establish the world’s first open access Quantum Technologies Innovation Centre, focusing on taking quantum research from the lab and into the commercial world and positioning the UK▸ as a global leader in the field.
Experts predict that harnessing the quantum world - the behaviour of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level - will revolutionise technology by making it faster, smaller, more secure and, ultimately, more useful for a wide variety of applications.
... and, in English?  They're going to look at the little bits quite closely, and sell them for a lot of money until someone realises they've been had. |

Just another example of the low quality of local journalism. In fact is there even any journalism, or does a computer trawl present it to some sort of online editor or may not even be in the area of circulation?
Slightly differently, but I remember when SWT▸ originally announced the new 707 inner suburban trains, the same stories appeared in local newspapers and websites all over the SWT network area, despite the majority of places never seeing the "red trains" normally.
