Then there's that picture of a sandwich advertising the 'Express Cafe'. I'd love for there to be a selection of sandwiches on soft wholemeal (or soft white), instead of the arty-farty breads we get at the moment. Perhaps more worthy of the pendants thread...
We have a thread about jewellery?

I'd say it's Plymouth... That looks suspiciously like somewhere in Cornwall to me... Pedantically you could say Bath Spa is 'correct' ... But looks nothing like the station though Then there's that picture of a sandwich advertising the 'Express Cafe'. Earlier Guess: I'd say it's Plymouth... That looks suspiciously like somewhere in Cornwall to me... No... It's Swindon... The picture was taken at Bodmin Parkway on what would be Platform 3 if it was not a heritage railway... I knew I recognised that kettle

Bonus points for saying the picture is taken facing the Up Line towards Liskeard? I used to live very near there, so I know that part of the Railway well... If you were working at Bodmin Parkway, Liskeard or St Austell anytime around 2003 - 2006 you may very well have served me at some point

Oh, I was going to say Cardiff Central because it's managed by Arriva. When FGW say "Find out more about First Great Western stations" what they probably mean is "Find out more about stations served by First Great Western"

Their picture for Cheltenham could, quite frankly, be absolutely anywhere: certainly no discernible relevance to any railway.

William Huskisson MP▸ was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830. Many more have died in the same way since then. Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Oh I don't know - there are sadly quite a few long closed railways that look like that now....

No, have been in the job for just under a year but will always welcome fellow members down to the best station in the west!

From the Metro Paper: http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/24/hundreds-miss-flights-from-gatwick-airport-after-deer-on-the-line-sparks-rail-chaos-4200275/Hundreds miss flights from Gatwick airport after deer on the line sparks rail chaosSunday 24 Nov 2013 10:21 pmDeer on the line sparks rail chaosA First Capital Connect service struck a deer (Picture: PA▸ ) Hundreds of airport passengers missed their flights after a deer hit by a train burst into flames. Rail travellers were delayed for up to 90 minutes after a Gatwick-bound First Capital Connect service from Brighton struck the animal near the exit of Balcombe Tunnel in West Sussex. When the train reached the airport, the deer^s torso touched an electrified rail and burst into flames ^ filling the terminal with smoke. Passenger Alex Barber, 30, said: ^There was a lot of screaming and shouting when the initial sparks and fire took place with people thinking it was an explosion at the airport once it started filling with smoke. There was no real information for us or emergency procedure.^ Services were disrupted between 7am and 4pm, with one person tweeting: ^@GatwickExpress due to these delays today, my friend missed her flight, how can you compensate her?^ It is understood that hundreds of passengers had to book later flights. Whilst the TOC▸ is correct in this picture... The Class of Train (Class 317) would not be found anywhere near Gatwick Airport or Balcombe Tunnel... It just wouldn't work... Oh deeear. The overhead power runs out at Farringdon!!
