One picture only. No clues just yet.

Hmm. Well, the car was registered in Exeter, between 1 March and 31 August 2011, so it's perhaps likely to be in that area.  Undecided

Thing is with cars, by their very nature they tend to get about a bit.  Wink

Well, in the absence of any other clue whatever, one has to start somewhere.  Roll Eyes

Although most dealers in somerset seem to use Exeter DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) office rather than Bristol, and many in Cornwall also use Exeter rather than Truro. My van was registered for me by a dealer in West Cornwall and has a WG reg, (it has my own private plate on now though) and my brothers Corsa registered a week later by a dealer in Somerset also had a WG registration.

Based on a "clue" given on bignosemac's Facebook account, I actually know the answer to this, even the road name.  Will let others have some time to guess.  Let's just say chris from nailsea is cold with guessing Exter.

Well done to Devon Big Bird. It is Langport, as near as I could really get to the former Langport East station whilst carry shopping!

Gonna have a wander around the area next week if the ground doesn't get too boggy. There are many public footpaths near the existing line over the River Parrett - built as the Langport and Castle Cary Railway - part of the cut off route that the GWR (Great Western Railway) opened in 1906 to shorten the journey between London and the West Country.

I will also see what remains I can find of the Yeovil to Taunton Line around the Langport area.

Hard to believe this small town (current pop: 1067) once had two stations, both operated by GWR.

I've always wondered about the value of East Lyng when going past. A friend recently walked part of the Taunton - Chard line, quite a bit open by all accounts. Oh to have those lines open with a FOSW (Freedom of (the) South West Rover) these days!

Oh just to have a station in Langport. Would make my visits to Mumsy a whole lot easier.
