Hi All,

Bought a Plusbus ticket on Saturday for use on Cardiff Buses and noticed it has increased again, twice this year to ^3.20 only now 0.20 p cheaper than buying  a day to go on the Bus.

Used to quite often make the effort to walk to Central station to buy when there was a saving of between 0.50 or 0.60 pence now it does not seem worth the effort to walk about 15 mins, just jump on a bus going into city and buy ticket.

Is this happenning elsewhere

I'm confused why would you walk for 15 mins to get to a station why did you not get the plusbus ticket from the same place as you bought your rail ticket

Hi Relax 109,

I have a yearly season from Cardiff to Pontypridd, my house is about 15 mins walk from Central or Queen St.

It was only from information of this forum that I learnt that you could buy Plusbus tickets if you had a valid season that is when I used to walk from the house to the station to buy plubus tickets if we were going up the Outlaws. My wife had a cardiff monthly but we both used to stroll in, now we just get on a bus.
