1.Check JourneyCheck (as I always do) before I leave home (several times but 7.25 at latest).. All good.. no updates that affect me

2. Walking along alley way by station 25 minutes later I hear an announcement that the 8am fast HST (High Speed Train) is down to 3 cars (wow how did THAT happen in under half hour since it leaves Didcot at 7.14).. Must have morphed along the way  Angry Roll Eyes Angry

3. Can't get on the 3 car turbo at 8am (funny that)

4. Can't get on the 8.04 either  - 4 car turbo (funny that)..

5. Get to work quite late

Marvellous.. (Not!!)..

Wish I had stayed at home till later.. Now isn't that what JourneyCheck would be a good thing for making that decision?  Roll Eyes

I noticed yesterday that the 06:50 Twyford-Henley which forms the 07:09 Henley-Paddington (calling at Maidenhead at 07:31) was only 2 cars instead of 5 which would have added to the fun and games.

This morning I did a similiar thing.. Checked journey check several times.. The difference today was I printed it off as it said all was ok (as it did yesterday)..

Then I went to the station a lot earlier than I needed to (even tho it was reporting no problems) just in case..

Everything was fine when I got there with my train but still.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Not gutted at all.. Not happy that I had to turn up early just in case.. but apparently there is sometimes no other option it seems after the day before.. But the train ran ok so all good..

Howver I do think that either JourneyCheck OR the trains need to be working.. Both failed on Thursday..
