Do you recognise this man? Police appeal for information after incidents at Truro rail station
British Transport Police (BTP▸ ) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify a man they want to speak to in connection with two incidents at Truro railway station.
At around 7.50pm on Monday, 30 July, 2012, a male passenger was told by rail staff he would not be allowed to travel on a London Paddington-bound train as he had no ticket or money.
Investigating officer, PC Wayne Frost, said: ^The man became aggressive towards a member of railway staff, swearing at him and threatening him with violence. The passenger returned to station at 10.45pm and tried to board the sleeper service to London but was again refused travel as he still had no money or ticket. Once again, he became aggressive and swore at members of station staff.^
Shortly before 7.30am the following morning, Tuesday 31 July, a different member of staff encountered the same passenger who shouted at the member of staff and spat towards him.
PC Frost said: ^The passenger, who had caused problems the day before, also became abusive towards this other member of staff before eventually leaving the station. Clearly, this man^s behaviour was unacceptable towards members of rail staff on both days. Staff have the right to go to work without suffering abuse of this kind. I would like to speak to the man in these photographs as I believe he will have information which can assist the investigation. Please contact BTP if you know his identity or his whereabouts.^
