Hmm. Roll Eyes

This morning, I received two envelopes from FGW (First Great Western) - one containing my ticket for the 09:05, and the other addressed to a Daniel Phillips at my address in error.

Is Daniel Phillips a member of this forum, by any chance?

Don't think so, however I do know someone going by this name - from Plymouth.

I can be Daniel Phillips...

On second thoughts, it could be about a penalty fare or something. I'll stick with being Spartacus.

To follow up on BNM's comment, this Vicky who has been the one publicising the event  has certainly become a Cropper.... in having to apologise for the ticket distribution which looks like ...or already is ...descending into farce...

I hope the rest of the CRP (Community Rail Partnership) event doesn't mean that an extra vowel finds its way into the acronym ! Roll Eyes

I now have a spare ticket for the 16:09 - offered free to anyone who can use it, on receipt of a PM with their address details so I can forward it.  Wink

NO! I'm Spartacus.

Anywhoo, I got a ticket in the post today despite being unsure whether my application had been successful. I'm heading out to the Portbury stop board at 1609.

One hopes they are the same.

A shout out to anyone with access to industry systems to confirm or deny the timings.

Although the services may not be in TRUST (Train Running System TOPS) etc just yet. So, Ollie or FGW (First Great Western), if you see this post perhaps you could enquire on our behalf re: specific timings for the specials on 29th Sept. Thanks awfully.  Wink Grin

Oh, and why did they have to make the comp tickets slightly larger than common stock? I cannae fit mine into a ticket wallet without folding it. Grrr.

I know. I shouldn't really moan. Free... glad to get one..... yadda yadda

The ones posted earlier in this thread appear still to be correct, although all trains are booked out of Platform 8 now.
