12:00 Guildford to Redhill due 12:39
* 12:25 Guildford to Redhill due 13:04

13:25 Guildford to Redhill due 14:01
* 14:00 Redhill to Guildford due 14:39
* 15:00 Guildford to Redhill due 15:31
* 16:00 Redhill to Guildford due 16:31
16:00 Guildford to Redhill due 16:39

Good to see that the proactive response to the (?) popularity of Olympic cycling, and that it's still possible to plan and run  extras like these.

Definitely needed - it took three trains between 10am and 11am to clear the crowds from Redhill and Reigate on Saturday morning with the first two full and standing from Redhill. Lots of family groups - the weather helping to bring out the crowds.

I hope there is enough capacity today.

I thought the services were additionally stopping at Gomshall (this was announced on the Thursday morning service)

FGW (First Great Western) also announced on Twitter, although I couldn't see it on the website, that those travelling from Reading to Gatwick Airport could travel via London Paddington and London Victoria and their tickets would be valid.  Difficult choice though - packed through train or carting your luggage across London....

The additional services were planned but most of the additional stops had to be added on the day because of the high passenger numbers.
