THere aren't any Bristol TM (Train Manager, or possibly Ticket Machine, depending on context) - Paddington trains that aren't scheduled to.

Looking up the National Rail Conditions of Carriage on the web, it's interesting that the list of Train Operating Companies is Still dated June 2006, Regularly up dated then.

Not sure, but a standard day return from West Drayton to Maidenhead costs ^1.40 more than the same ticket from Maidenhead to West Drayton.

When I used to buy daily tickets, quite a while ago now, I used to buy my return to go from Maidenhead to Paddington the other way around (if you see what I mean). So I'd have a Paddington to Maidenhead return (bought at Paddington). I'd travel on the return portion on my way in to work in the morning (I was assured I could use it at any time of day) and the outward portion on the way home.. It confused the ticket inspectors no end!! It was quite a bit cheaper from what I can remember... Not sure if that would still work!

In the Days of BR (British Rail(ways)) the price of tickets were always more from London out than traveling in to London.
