More than any other franchise consultation and approaching HS2 (The next High Speed line(s)).

Invitation to Tender out in mid July, say Informed Sources (no, not Roger Ford, this time, or the Minister)

Key thing is that the current Franchise is still set to end on 28 April 13.

Be very interesting on 29th April 2013 if FGW (First Great Western) don't get the new franchise.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.
