Looks good. Top effort from FGW (First Great Western).

And I say that as a committed republican.  Lips sealed

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

Horrendous. Looks like some ugly, bad-taste, cheap porcelain miniature that you'd see advertised in the Daily Mail. Sycophantic toadying to a bunch of unelected German robber barons (to steal a phrase from Jeremy Hardy).

Actually, if any producers of low-budget china tat targeted at Daily Mail readers are perusing this thread, I am prepared to sell you my idea for a nominal consideration.

I wonder when Hornby / Lima will have a model of it in the shops?  Wink

It's certainly 'different'. For those of you who want it for 'Frothage' its on the country end of 1A81, 1C18, 1A27 and 1C96 today....

1A81 0844 Penzance - London Paddington
1C18 1430 London Paddington - Weston-super-Mare
1A27 1710 Weston-super-Mare - London Paddington
1C96 1945 London Paddington - Plymouth

Always subject to be swapped on to a different service at London Paddington though.

Wow!

As I said, I have republican tendencies but perhaps wouldn't go that far. I'm just interested to see something different on the side of a HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) power car.

No. Hang on. You're right blakey. Off with their heads I say.  Tongue Wink Grin
