My guesses are:

7. Colwall Tunnel in the direction towards Malvern Wells Signal box

10. Huntly which is between Inverness and Aberdeen

8. The ticket office at Mallaig

12. Elgin - between inverness and aberdeen

13. Aviemore in the up direction between perth and inverness

15. Tulloch

16. The bell at the platform end at Inverness - and if you were close enough to look at the barber - you could turn around and look at the bell

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.
