hello, I have a few questions regarding ECS▸ moves around Cornwall, which I found on OpenTrainTimes.
1. There appears to be a MO 5L71 which runs from Par to Liskeard rather than Plymouth to Liskeard, I presume this is the Ex Sunday night Newquay Service, which stables at Par all night.
2. At Truro There are two paths for the ex 2T89 19:02 Falmouth Docks - Truro: 5T89 1938 TRU to PNZ 5P89 1934 TRU to PLY»
I thought this train went to Penzance each night, or it only certain days?
3. Also is there a unit still sat spare at Plymouth for most of the day?
Thanks, Mark

This service will be a double 153, which will divide. One to Plymouth and one to Penzance.

that makes scene, but where would this go from Plymouth? Does it attach to the 2E89 - 21:25 Plymouth - Exeter St Davids?
Also where does this extra 153 come from in the mornings, as Penzance wouldn't have enough units overnight to start from there would it?

It forms 5P98 to Laira departing 2130 formed of 4 coaches (150+153x3) with the following: 5P48 1939 Exeter St Davids to Plymouth (153) 2P95 1916 Penzance to Plymouth (150) Additional 153 is gained because the spare unit at Plymouth runs to Cornwall with a 150 on 1557 Plymouth - Penzance, and remains at Penzance, while the 150 returns to Plymouth on 2P95 1916 Penzance to Plymouth. 2E89 2125 Plymouth to Exeter is formed 150+153 formed from the following trains 5C51 1857 Liskeard to Plymouth (150) 5P94 2033 Liskeard to Plymouth (153)

Thanks for this, so is the following correct?
5C51 18:57 Liskeard - Plymouth 19:22 (150) 5P94 20:33 Liskeard - Plymouth 20:58 (153) Form: 2E89 21:25 Plymouth - Exeter St Davids 22:40 (150 + 153)
5P89 19:34 Truro - Plymouth 20:49 (153) 5p48 19:39 Exeter St Davids - Plymouth 20:54 (153) 2P95 19:16 Penzance - Plymouth 21:20 (150) Form: 5P98 21:30 Plymouth - Laira TMD▸ 22:16 (150 + 153x2)
Which seems to be enough units for the mornings at Plymouth (Gunnislake, Looe & Spare)
2P97 22:21 Gunnislake - Plymouth 23:06 (150) 5P13 22:30 Par - Plymouth 23:14 (153) Forms: 5E13 23:40 Plymouth - Exeter St Davids 00:36 (150 + 153)
And The following are at Penzance:
2C48 15:57 Plymouth - Penzance 18:07 (153) 5T89 19:38 Truro - Penzance 20:13 (153) 2A58 22:20 St Ives - Penzance 22:57 (150) 5T93 23:04 Truro - Penzance 23:37 (150) 2C53 22:31 Plymouth - Penzance 00:40 (150) Forming: 5C98 01:45 Penzance - Penzance TMD 02:00 (3 x 150 + 2 x 153)
So in the morning 150 on 2U12, 2x153 and 150 for Falmouth branch , and 150 on St Ives branch.

Now some questions regarding Saturdays:
1. There is a 5C40 04:05 Laira TMD▸ - Par - I presume this form the 2C40 from Par to Penzance, and would it also the Looe and Newquay units?
2. There is also a 5B21 05:24 Par - Liskeard. Does this come down on the above service then go back up to Liskeard? If not where does this come from?
3. Which train is the 5P12 - 20:46 Penzance - Par formed from? I imagine the ex 2C50 or ex 5T89
4. The 5P12 20:46 Penzance - Par does this couple to 2P96 Newquay - Plymouth at Par?
5. Is the 5T89 - 19:40 Truro - Penzance formed from a single 153 or 2x153s?
6. Lastly I presume the 5B16 00:10 Plymouth - Laira TMD is formed from: 5P92 - 20:56 Liskeard - Plymouth 21:21 (153) 2P97 - 22:21 Gunnislake - Plymouth 23:06 (150) 2P96 - 21:18 Newquay - Plymouth 23:12 (153)
Would this be correct?
Thanks again, Mark

One thing I forgot to ask. Where does the Sleeper train go after arriving into Penzance on Saturday morning? As I understand there is no PNZ - PAD» sleeper on saturday nights, surely it can't stable at Longrock over night as the sidings will be used by the HSTs▸ and Voyagers.

5C99 Penzance - Long Rock, it stables over the weekend.

Correct
2. There is also a 5B21 05:24 Par - Liskeard. Does this come down on the above service then go back up to Liskeard? If not where does this come from?
Comes from 5C40
3. Which train is the 5P12 - 20:46 Penzance - Par formed from? I imagine the ex 2C50 or ex 5T89
Formed from 2C50
4. The 5P12 20:46 Penzance - Par does this couple to 2P96 Newquay - Plymouth at Par?
Stables Par and that is the reason for a Monday only 5L71
5. Is the 5T89 - 19:40 Truro - Penzance formed from a single 153 or 2x153s?
Formed of a double 153
6. Lastly I presume the 5B16 00:10 Plymouth - Laira TMD is formed from: 5P92 - 20:56 Liskeard - Plymouth 21:21 (153) - Forms 2G79 2131 Gunnislake 2P97 - 22:21 Gunnislake - Plymouth 23:06 (150) - Forms 5B16 2P96 - 21:18 Newquay - Plymouth 23:12 (153) - Forms 5B16
Just one quickie to pick up on. Is 2C50 Sat worked by a single 153 or is it attached to something else on arrival Penzance. I.m assuming 5P12 is a 153 if working 5L71 and Looe on Monday after Newquays Sunday at a guess. Edited to fix quote. bignosemac

5C99 Penzance - Long Rock, it stables over the weekend. Does this mean it is in a different siding to usual? As surely the HSTs and Voyagers would will up the six sidings to the east of the depot?

I was under the impression that it remained within the depot buildings, however I don't know the layout of Long Rock to confirm, 5C99 is the only ECS▸ for the sleeper stock on Saturdays.
