I've seen people on trains using a couple of devices simultaneously but a woman I spotted earlier had running, and was using, 2 iPhones, an iPad and a laptop (I assume Apple). Both phones were txt, the iPad for a game and what appeared to be real work on the pc.  Shocked

Anyone seen, or even admit to that level of inadequacy, or even lunacy.

Not an Apple fan either. Style over substance, cost over content.

I'm claiming the 5th on this one.

What we would like is an iService - updated at least once a year with a new model with lots of new stuff

Mostly I agree with this. I used to have a (work) iPhone but much prefer android. But I love the iPad (2)..mainly coz the kids can't break it!

I once saw a man on a train with both a Blackberry and an iPhone! Now that's obsessive.

I write this on my iPod Touch...as I am away from my MacBook.

I have to admit to carrying a (works) blackberry, my personal android and an iPad ...which sounds alot but it means I don't have to lug a laptop around with me.

Most of my colleagues are iGeeks.  I can't quite see the fuss myself.  Picked up a bargain laptop for half the price of a iMac.  Best of all, it runs Linux with very little fuss which is very important for me.

Last time I was on a Pendolino, I had two laptops on the table in front of me.  Cue annoyed looks from my fellow table sharers.

But did you use all the power sockets in the process? I really don't get the need some iGeeks have to queue up on a cold winter night for the latest fondleslab...

Well I am apple and I have been since before apple-mania set in

I have been known to have a 17 inch mac book pro, an iPad and an iPhone on the go at the same time!  I know when my friend and I were on the way to penzance last May we had:

1 x mac book pro
2 x ipad
3 x iphone

I use iPad and iPhone because they are by far he easiest to integrate to a mac computer however if I used a PC then I suspect I'd use an android device or a blackberry

P.S. as for the cost - yes. macs are expensive - but my laptop and my iMac are both about four years old and are not creaking and will outstrip most modern PC derivatives

I do remember many years ago (1990 I think) being presented with a load of boxes, which contained brand new apple equipment, and being asked to create a network from scratch. Havng been used to to pain of PCs where you had to set IRQs and I/O space etc all you had to do was  bung the (network) cards in the workstations connect the plugs and away it went.

I'm not an apple fan but can see their appeal.
