Does anyone know how busy the car park is likely to be at Hayes & Harlington on Friday at around 3:30pm?

Are there any other places I could park (near the M25) to get into Paddington?

Hillingdon on the Metropolitan Line might also be worth considering, although I've no idea how busy the car park is likely to be.

Thanks for the suggestion inspector_blakey.  When I've done something similar before, I used Hayes & Harlington, but that was on a Sunday.

Depending where you are heading in London and when for..?? you have a few options... Hounslow West/East for example on the picadilly line...Parking in central london is also good and is (or used to be) free in the evenings..

I'm meeting a friend who is arriving from Bristol at around 4:15 and we'll probably stay local to Paddington, so probably a bit too early for any free parking.

Think I'll take a map with me and just drive around if I can't find a space.

I'll be going through at around the same time today, so will take a look at how busy it is for you.

Not a space to be had today at pretty much bang on 3:30pm I'm afraid, 'Brucey'.  Railway car parks are invariably a little quieter on Friday and Monday when compared with other weekdays, so it's not a total no hoper, but I certainly wouldn't bank on it.

Hmm, thanks IndustryInsider.  Think it'll be map in hand and driving round (not at the same time, obviously).  There are quite a few residential streets without parking restrictions, so I'll also try the local area.

The reason for this odd request is that I'm driving Milton Keynes to Portsmouth, heading into London on the way.  I'll be needing my car in Portsmouth, so can't do the whole journey by train.

My friend used to park in a road near to Ruislip gardens (central line) if that's any help? Can't for the life of me remember the name of the road, but it was quite close.

I arrived a couple of hours earlier than planned at Hayes & Harlington  There was just a single space remaining, which was very lucky.
