From the British Transport Police press release:

Quote
DO RECOGNISE THIS MAN? POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION AFTER MEMBER OF RAIL STAFF ASSAULTED ^ WESTBURY

British Transport Police (BTP (British Transport Police)) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with an incident at Westbury railway station in Wiltshire.

Officers have today released CCTV (Closed Circuit Tele-Vision) images of a man they believe will have information which can assist the investigation.

Sergeant Scott McKechnie, investigating officer, said the incident took place at around 7.15am on Tuesday 11 October 2011.

^A male passenger entered the booking officer area of Westbury station and was asked by staff to show his ticket as he made his way towards the platforms. The passenger aggressively raised his fists towards the member of staff and swore at him repeatedly before leaving the station without travelling," Sgt McKechnie said.

^Behaviour such as this towards members of staff carrying out their duties is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by British Transport Police. Enquiries are ongoing and, after viewing CCTV images from the station, I would like to identify and speak to the man in these photographs as I believe he will be able to assist the investigation.^

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, quoting incident reference B5/WWA of 21/12/2011. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
