What are the chances of any of these proposals being implemented?

I think the chances are higher than they were , with a Greater Bristol Strategic Transport Authority very much on top of the political agenda at present. Recent Transport Innovation Fund proposals put forward by the West Of England Partnership also contain some similiar plans , which is a good sign.

Realistically though , the proposals should be seen as more of a road map towards a better network. If we can make significant progress towards implementation within the next 5 - 10 years , then I would be happy.

As far as what we are doing to push them forward , they get fed into every relevant consultation that comes up , and the official responses we have had have been broadly positive.
