British Transport Police (BTP▸ (British Transport Police)) want to trace this man in relation to a sexual offence onboard a train in Reading.

These CCTV▸ (Closed Circuit Tele-Vision) images show the man they want to identify after a woman passenger reported witnessing an indecent act on a Reading to Oxford service on June 5.

PC Salli Ward, investigating officer from BTP, said: ^It is thought the suspect boarded the 11.23am stopping service to Oxford on platform 8 at Reading, before alighting at Didcot Parkway station. The man is only just in view on the CCTV camera and while I appreciate he may be difficult to recognise, anyone with information is asked to get in touch.^

The man is described as white, with a scrawny build and in his mid to late thirties. He is thought to have blond or strawberry-blond hair.

Anyone who may be able to identify the man is asked to contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40 and quote incident number 221 of June 5, 2010. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
