And Dartmouth Station is indeed interesting. Can anyone tell me when a train last called there?

Um.... never? Plenty of connecting ferries though! Up until 30th December 1972, according to Wikipedia. The passenger ferry now calls at a pontoon further down river.

The foot passenger ferry still goes from the pontoon just near to the grockel fest that is 'Dartmouth' station.

I stand corrected Wink. 'grockel fest' is a bit strong though. I had a cracking cream tea in 'Dartmouth Station' last year.

Oh, hang on, we were visiting, so I guess that did mean we were grockles. I have, however, never worn a knotted handkerchief on my head!

You'll soon become bitter to grockels when you sit in endless traffic jams and work in the tourist trade Wink

Thats not very nice.  You work in the tourist trade so if the grockels stop coming you would be out of a job !
