BTP APPEALS FOR WITNESSES AFTER LARGE SCALE FIGHT ON BOARD TRAIN - WILTSHIRE/DORSET
British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify three men they want to speak to in connection with a large scale fight on board a train near the Wiltshire/Dorset border.
On Saturday 24 October, BTP received a call at about 11.20pm that a fight involving two large groups of friends had broken out on board a London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction service between Salisbury and Tisbury, Wiltshire.
Officers attended alongside colleagues from Wiltshire Police and a 19-year-old man from Gillingham, Dorset, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.
BTP has today issued CCTV▸ images showing three men in their late teens or early twenties who they believe can help with their ongoing enquiries into the incident.
CCTV images 1 and 2 show the same man with his hood down in one of the photographs and pulled up in the other. He is described as being of mixed race appearance, of slim build and was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans and white trainers.
Image 3 shows a white man with blond hair, of medium build and wearing a white top, dark jeans and a white belt.
CCTV image 4 shows a white male with blond hair, of medium build and wearing a grey T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who knows the identity of any of the men in the CCTV images is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, quoting log reference 728 of 24/10/2009, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
