So far today I have been:

1. Frozen to death on the 0624 from WOS» (Worcester Shrub Hill - next trains) to RDG(resolve)
2. Boiled alive on the 0834 RDG to wokingham
3. Had my nips frozen off from crowthorne to RDG
4. And am now in hell's furnace on the 1821 RDG to WOS

So thats two HST (High Speed Train) and two turbo - and none of them consistent..........

You need to bear in mind that the HST (High Speed Train) is now an old train and thus the climate control is very basic indeed its either on or off. there is a heating setting and a cooling setting with no adjustment . what usually happens is when the filters block up, if the system set to heating it keeps on heating and the other way around.
thats all i know about it, and as for turbos i guess they are somewhat similar

turbos are done via the engine coolant and temp sensors/thermostats in saloon controlling when fans come on if they are still working after the summer period.

hst are electric and as said controlled by the old climate control system they are probably only just starting to check the operation of these as winterisation period runs october through to march.

I have an excellent climate control system for travelling on trains with problematic heating/cooling. It's called 'me coat'. It has two settings: On or Off Grin
