Just wandering if anybody knew which trains are busy in First Class (High Speed) and if so, how busy?

Just out of general interest.
Cheers.

The 9:19 from Taunton - London Paddington is busy as I believe it is the first off peak train to London of the day. Also the service has a travelling chef and is normally staffed by 3 customer hosts. On principle it's not to bad, everyone likes to have a table to themselves, which by the time the train gets to Taunton, soon changes!

The service was once missing coach H which resulted in every seat in FC(resolve) except one being taken, so I took that seat... However, the businessman sat in the opposite seat did not approve of my presence...! Roll Eyes I however was more interested in my Cheese and Tomato toasted sandwich, obtained from the buffet Grin

Blimey, I am suprised it gets that busy. I've often seen the 0906 Paddington - Plymouth busy until Exeter in First Class.

All the rush hour ones, into or out of Paddington in both the morning and evening seem to be pretty close to full.

Outside the peaks the loading seems much lighter.

Fair enough, did wonder whether having 2(1/3) carriages of First Class was overkill, perhaps not!

I would presume that the Golden Hind was one of the busiest? (due to its specialist status)

I think on most routes it is necessary to have 2 FC(resolve) carriages. IMO (in my opinion) The Buffet could have been converted to Standard Class Accomodation.
