05:19 Gloucester to Southampton Central due 08:09

This train has been revised. It will call additionally at: Bristol Parkway. It will no longer call at: Stonehouse, Stroud, Kemble, Swindon, Chippenham, Melksham, Trowbridge, Westbury, Dilton Marsh, Warminster, Salisbury, Romsey and Southampton Central. This is due to an obstruction on the line. Replacement road transport will operate at 06:00 between Cheltenham Spa and Swindon, calling at Gloucester, Stonehouse, Stroud and Kemble.Last Updated: 13/02/2009 05:30

Looks more "cancelled - ECS (Empty Coaching Stock) to Bristol" than "revised". Next southbound TransWilts ... 18:45 from Swindon

Full report: "An additional train service has been planned to operate as shown 06:32 Chippenham to Southampton Central due 08:10 run on 13/02/09. Last Updated: 13/02/2009 05:31 "

OK - just spotted this one. Thanks for that.   Looks like the 05:19 ran as a passenger service to Bristol, ECS (Empty Coaching Stock) to Chippenham (via Rhubarb Loop?) and reversed to take up its normal timings. As there are only a handful of passengers (and that's generous) off Swindon, but more join at Chippenham and Melksham, looks like a good solution with the Stroud Valley blocked.
