Our favourite sardine can, the 1753 for Nailsea and beyond is going to be 3 coaches from the new timetable. This news comes from the latest Customer Panel minutes, which have now been posted on the FGW▸ (First Great Western) website.

Curiously, the minutes confirm that the loco hauled set is funded by the DaFT» (Department for Transport - critical sounding abbreviation I discourage - about), not to strengthen Bristol area services, but to enable a Cl150 to be displaced to the south west to cover for a withdrawn evening XC▸ (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) service in the new timetable (which is mentioned in another thread).

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
