Plans to reduce traffic congestion in Bath have gone on show to the public.  The council hopes to persuade people that the Bath Transportation Package, which could cost ^58m, is the answer to the city's gridlock problems.

Plans include expanding the existing park-and-ride sites and the creation of a new one in the east of the city.

The council would need to purchase portions of six local gardens for a bus rapid transport scheme to be possible but local residents are opposing this.
