Business leaders are calling for rail services in Devon to be improved (link below.)

The Devon and Cornwall Business Council (DCBC) says rail links are essential for the future regeneration of the county's economy.

Tim Jones , the DCBC's chairman said more rail services were needed to prevent overcrowding problems.

"The government has not recognised the extent of our need because of the remote nature of our region and the challenges facing car travel," he said.

I'd like to see an improved frequency between Exeter and Paignton, particularly in the summer. It would also be good to possibly extend the Exeter-Paddington stoppers to perhaps call Dawlish, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and then off to Paignton/Plymouth.
