William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Highways England have been doing some maintenance to these bridges in Loders. The BRP  prefix I presume refers to the Bridport Railway Path. However, the chance of the path going over these bridges is very low due to objections from the owners of adjacent properties.
Currently the trail starts in Highacres, Loders between two houses, 58 and 60 and can be followed to Toller, with a slight detours at Powerstock Common Nature Reserve and at Powerstock station which is privately owned. This latter one does allow a sojourn at the Marquis of Lorne.

BRP is just the Engineer's Line Reference for BRidPort, I think.

Maiden Newton–Bridport should really be a dead cert for a foot/cycleway, but you know how long these things take...

50th anniversary if closure in May. Some progress is being made toward getting Toller to Maiden Newton sorted.
However, I cannot see the section through Loders being opened at any time soon. There was a meeting a short time ago and the two factions produced publicity. The anti brigade had racing cyclists on a cycle path while the pro brigade had the same scene but with bikes with children in tow! This means that from Highacres to Bradpole continues to be along the road.
