Links to Bluesky posts with three sets of photos (by Seat 61) from Avanti's Evero train - and a page on their Evero trains from Avanti themselves.

Also, a page on them from 'Show me the journey' which usefully shows that like rest of the class 80x the cycle storage may be a struggle - and also, these being 5 carriage sets, with two joined together, this means the need for staffing - train managers  for both sets and also to provision the pair of on board shops that that implies

Apologies if everyone's familiar with these. The sets of bays-of-four must bring the benefit of more flexibility with luggage.

When the time comes to refit the train interiors on the current west country fleet, there will be options and choices. The current GWR (Great Western Railway) fit out delivers 326 / 302 seats - while an Evero settles on 274 per five car set.

They’re largely replacing the fleet of 5-car trains Class 221s which have run under the same ‘double crew’ arrangements for many years, though if it’s the same as GWR (Great Western Railway) you don’t need two train managers, just one TM (Train Manager, or possibly Ticket Machine, depending on context) and one ‘competent person’, usually the lead host.

There are also the ten 807s being built which are 7-car units.
