Rumour has it that there's a points failure to the south of Westbury Station meaning that only platform 1 is available for trains to and from Warminster.  Rather confirmed by the train displays.

Rumour goes on to suggest it might NOT be a quick fix ...

It’s been this way for a month now (seems to been from about 09:00 on 27th December that trains running between Westbury and Warminster were using platform 1 exclusively. Information gleaned from the OpenRail website http://www.charlwoodhouse.co.uk/rail/liverail/dep/Wsb/4/27/12/23).

One could say that that already constitutes “not a quick fix”.

I hadn't realised it had been going on so long.  Makes the rumour of "not fixed until April" seem possible.

As of 13:10 yesterday (Monday 12th February) trains started to arrive at Westbury from Warminster at platforms other than 1.
