Old Irish Pictures - and a note on copyright

I spent a wonderful half hour yesterday scrolling through some old pictures of diesel locomotive hauled trains in Ireland; something that's become (I suppose) a sort of personal interest for little logical reason.  In other words, I have "no excuse" other than pleasure.  If you are as maverick as me, do take a look - start at https://www.flickr.com/photos/152343870@N07/52042637728/in/photostream/

In the absence of exceptional circumstances, I would include in this post a short quotation to include a sample picture, in order to point you to the excellent and historic pictures from "Grumpy Old Boiler" - however, I'm going to limit myself in critical review to quote

All photographs are my copyright and must not be used without permission. Unauthorised use will result in my invoicing you £1,500 per photograph and, if necessary, taking legal action for recovery.

His photos, his choice ... and at least his warning of intent is very clear.  He may be overstepping the UK^▸ (United Kingdom) (or Irish?) copyright laws to dis-allow a short quote for critical review, but if he doesn't want that exposure, I'll respect his choice.
