Cycles on the Elizabeth Line Central Section

Confirmation (in a tweet only so far) that they are allowed but only off-peak (same as for the Sub-Surface Lines)

All fairly logical and consistent with existing practice if you view Padd-Reading and Liv St-Shenfield as National Rail lines. It may seem a little less logical once the whole line is joined up (particularly with a possible resulting mismatch between high level and low level Liv St-Stratford rules) but I hope the rules will remain as now ...unless of course the line becomes so successful that "contraflow" trains going against the traditional peak flow are as crowded as the ones going the other way.

The train I was on just after 7am from Paddington towards Abbey Wood carried two bicycles
