"'Twas a week before Christmas and all through the house,
Music was playing as about restrictions we doth grouse."

In modern times, many songs have had new words to them.  Can you identify the original title of these?  Can you suggest any more songs for Christmas 2021?

1. "Taking the train home for Christmas"

2. "Won't you stay another lockdown"

3. "Cool Christmas"

4. "All I want for Christmas is a decent public transport service"

5. "Optare ride"

6. "Santa Claus is shielding"

7. "Duplication removed"

A tad off topic I know but I couldn't resist relaying this joke that just now actually came out of a Christmas Cracker at a pre Crimbo family garden get together today.

'How did Mary and Joseph know that Jesus was 7lb 6oz when he was born?'

'They had a weigh in a manger'.

....... I'll get my camel.

Here are my original thoughts ... there were lots of other good alternatives that you folks have come up with!

"Taking the train home for Christmas"
Driving home for Christmas

"Won't you stay until after lockdown"
Won't you stay another day

"Cool Christmas"
White Christmas

"All I want for Christmas is a decent public transport service"
All I want for Christmas is you

"Optare ride"
Sleigh Ride

"Santa Claus is shielding"
Santa Claus is coming to town

"Duplication removed"
2 become 1

Don't forget the follow-up single "Driving Home For Easter", for when Covid grant funding disappears, and all the bus services get withdrawn...
