Just about (?) worth mentioning, but there are a few railway scenes in the 1972 film
"All Coppers Are ..." on Talking Pictures Channel 81 at 2105 tonight, Wednesday, May 19. (It was also screened several nights ago.)
Filmed in the Battersea area, with the power station sometimes featuring in the background. Early on, a policeman chases a villain through a goods yard, there are two or three overhead scenes of railway lines and several of "underneath the arches".
More of an inducement to watch if you can remember hot pants and men with long hair and extended sideburns. A few familiar names are scattered in the cast, including an evil-looking Ian Hendry, a slobbering Glynn Edwards (the pub landlord in "Minder") and David Essex in a very early screen appearance.
