Carters Steam Fair will operate on Weston's Beach Lawns between the Grand Atlantic and Ellenborough Park between 2-25 August (link below.)
http://thisisbristol.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=145365&command=displayContent&sourceNode=145191&contentPK=20434863&folderPk=83726&pNodeId=144922

It normally only operates in London and the South East and has appeared in various films and television programmes including Antiques Roadshow, The Krays, 28 Weeks Later and Trial and Retribution.

Anna Carter and her family run the fair after her late husband John started to build up a collection and restore antique rides in the 1970s.

The family proudly carry on the tradition - even living in antique accommodation.

The gates will open from Monday to Thursday from 11am to 7pm and Friday to Sunday from 11am to 10pm (with no music after 9pm). Entry will be free with a charge per ride.
