There are some who call me... Tim

YouTuber 'The Tim Traveller', with apologies to Geoff Marshall and Vicky Pipe for copying their format, has set off to Les Cabrils which is believed to be the least used station in France. An amusing and entertaining watch, as are most of Tim's videos:

He makes a serious point though, in that the Aubrac line is under threat. It seems that 'reducing emissions' is a justification for closure, which seems very odd given that the line is electrified.

There's a petition against its closure:  https://www.change.org/p/urgence-aubrac

This has to be France's Settle to Carlisle, and the viaduct at Garabit its Ribblehead (albeit a very different structure).

Sadly I have not yet been able to travel down it, just seen it at many points on its route. Ironically, there was a proposal to reduce overheads by removing the OHL (Over-Head Line) but this proved too expensive!

Definitely worth signing the petition.

The Garabit viaduct is one of my favorite structures.
