I have been puzzled by the car wheel at the top right, and the lack of many remaining bridges over roads on the line. So my guess for 8 is Whitchurch (as that part of the A34 by-pass that was partly built on the formation on top?)- but I say that with no confidence. I do know it's not Compton if that helps anyone else!

The Car is on Something that has always been a road.

Winchester - which is a bit like Whitchurch, after all. Barfield Close going under East Street (and others crossing it).

Winchester it is

I took the photo from opposite the Black Rat pub at the end of Chesil street looking down onto Barfield close. Barfield close is on the DN&S Trackbed.

Thanks to all who took part in the Quiz. I only had the idea a couple of days ago when looking for photos for something else but it seemed to work very well.

And Thanks to Graham for the oppertunity to run some quizes.

Plum festival is at Pershore, so that must be 11.

Yes

Is that the new car park on the north side of the line in the background?

No that is the Lorry park for the Tarmac plant at the west end of the Tarmac plant.

The Car park will be at the East end of the Tarmac plant and the station.

Is the plan to access it from the east - i.e. off the roundabout on the A44?
