A new GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) entrant was interviewed on Radio Bristol about starting work for GWR.

One of fifteen new staff that FGW▸ (First Great Western) have employed who use to be employed with Thomas Cook,

and just before Christmas.

Really good news for those ex TC▸ (Train Crew, or Travelling Chef, depending on context) staff and well done GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) for taking the initiative that seems to be a win-win all round.

They'll be obvious to spot on the trains though, as they'll be pointing out the exits before departure.

It is definitely a good news story. Credit is certainly doe to GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) for their initiative. It may be that they hired the people because of the undoubted skills they already possessed, so making them a better option for GWR than someone new to customer service - but who cares? Everyone's a winner!
