Moreton-in-Marsh Community Hub To Be Re-Launched

Work is set to start on a ^650,000 project to re-launch a vital community centre at Moreton-in-Marsh. St David's Centre is set to ride high once again after being devastated by 4ft of water in July's flood (link below.)

A raft of local fundraising has ensured contractors will move in to refurbish the ruined base on Monday.

Vicar the Rev Stephen Wookey said the community was left stranded when the base was washed away but residents have rallied round and essential insurance money has also rolled in.

The amenity - a lifeline base for the youth club, playgroup and Brownies - could be up and running again by September.
