From a comment in another post where I was quoting - "The last slam door train did not leave Waterloo until 2005". Set me thinking - what dates for other termini? Can anyone help me fill this in?
Fenchurch Street Liverpool Street Old Street King's Cross St Pancras Euston Baker Street Marylebone Paddington - 2019 Victoria Charing Cross Waterloo - 2005 Blackfriars Canon Street London Bridge

Perhaps ChrisB was thinking of traditional slam door units such as those on the Southern region, as a thing from MK▸ III carriages

The sleeper service will prolong Paddington's observation of slam door stock in use

And, of course, any definitive dates for Waterloo and Marylebone will need qualifying.
Both have seen slam door stock in scheduled passenger service in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

And of course, Marylebone still has slam door stock scheduled every weekday, as it has had for several years now.

Anywhere with HST▸ services of course are still ongoing.
Aren’t there more Waterloo diversions coming up?

And of course, Marylebone still has slam door stock scheduled every weekday, as it has had for several years now. The one set of Mk3s isn't being converted as too expensive, so 2019 for Marylebone.

I've just checked Steam Dreams' website. They still seem to be running excursions from almost all London terminals, presumably all still using West Coast mark 1 and 2 stock, so perhaps the answer will be whenever health and safety legislation bans their use?

I though the last true everyday slam door stock on SWT▸ were the 4VEPs for the Lymington branch Now worked by diesels as the newer electric units take too long to reboot on reversal. A couple of coaches of which are on the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway.
An interesting set is the London Transport liveried 4TC set

The rebooting time problem was solved years ago, otherwise the 450s wouldn’t have been operating at weekends ever since the VEPs left. They’ll be 450s 7/7 from the December timetable change. The 158s were used during the week to allow the 450s to be used for mainline capacity. Paul
