Knowing Grahame has recently visited Scotland and his tribulations when his train from Wick was cancelled I wonder if No 3 is that, Wick.
It isn't Wick (I have pictures of Wick but not with me - currently at Yeovil Pen Mill) but you're not terribly far off.
According to your published itinerary, the only other places you set out from on a train towards Inverness were Kyle of Lochalsh and Georgemas - of which the latter fits much better as "not terribly far".
Indeed it is Gerogemas Junction - photo taken in to the old ticket hall / waiting room holding my phone at the least dirty point in the glass.
This is a redundant station building. Does not look like the sort of thing to easily be relocated, but would make an excellent holiday let / home ... great for someone who likes rail. But I expect there are far too many places around ...
