Noting the chaos this weekend ... worse things happen at sea.  Even after the weekend if over and trains are back to normal after Monday ...

From the P&O Ventura today ...

Quote
Due to a technical issue which puts a limit on our speed, our arrival into Vigo on Sunday will be delayed by approximately four hours, with an expected arrival time now 12:00 noon. ...

Going forward, our arrival time at Lisbon will now be 12:00 noon [Monday] ...

... it does regrettably mean that we will no longer be calling at Oporto on Tuesday ...

I wouldn’t be too pleased about that, Porto is an amazing place to visit, looking forward to visiting there in June.

And some of us also know for what product Oporto is famous Tongue
This may SOMETIMES be found on GWR (Great Western Railway) Pullmans.

A proper intercity train has a minimum of 8 coaches, gangwayed throughout, with first at one end, and a full sized buffet car between first and standard.
It has space for cycles, surfboards, luggage etc.
A 5 car DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) is not a proper inter-city train. The 5+5 and 9 car DMUs are almost as bad.
