Do All Line Rover tickets over the Christmas period get extended by a day as there's no trains on 25th December, or by two days as there's precious little on 26th?    Do the departure restrictions which make them no longer All TRAIN rovers get relaxed over the holiday season?

Usual bank holiday rules feature (in answer to your 2nd Q), and I'd expect them to be extended by 2 days, but don't know for sure on GWR▸ (Great Western Railway). Good question for @GWRHelp on twitter.
