NRE(resolve) says Ride Cornwall is valid on the 0817 Plymouth to Penzance. F of Dand C 3 in 7  does not mention it . Is it valid on both please ?

GWR (Great Western Railway) Ranger and Rovers booklet definitely says it is valid (page 21) although it refers to 0814 not 0817.

GWRs (Great Western Railway) booklet from stations says for the freedom of Devon and Cornwall

Quote
time restrictions
Mon to Fri: valid from 09:00 or from when the off-peak day ticket becomes valid if earlier but 2T railcard not valid until 09:30

Off peak day returns are valid on the 081* Plymouth to Penzance and a 08** Plymouth to Gunnislake.

There are also journeys within Devon where off peak day tickets are valid earlier than 9am
