I have to say whilst waiting for the sleeper at pz I was admiring the view out in to the bay on this lovely evening and come to the conclusion that the signal box is one with a fantastic view out over the bay or can any one come up with a box with a better view??

William Huskisson MP▸ was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830. Many more have died in the same way since then. Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

No, sorry, Palfers: I was being somewhat ironic, in referring to the late lamented Dawlish signalbox. See http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=12467.0

I imagine the box controlling Reedham Swing Bridge in Norfolk has quite a good view.
