Also, grahame, and as has been picked up in a post above: I think you need to consider, are there shower facilities at work, when one arrives there?

I was fortunate, in my days of cycling from home into my office in Bristol, that there was a full shower room, to enable me to freshen up and arrive at my desk in a suitably fragrant condition. Lips sealed

Without that facility, frankly, I'd have been wary about even cycling down to the railway station, never mind cycling the whole nine miles into work. Tongue
