I try to avoid making the TransWilts part of this forum into a sad list of train cancellations ... but today takes the biscuit with two thirds of the already meagre service cancelled.  And I would like to ask anyone from First Great Western who reads this board ... "I know you have problems - but how on earth can you justify such an appalling cancellation rate as you have on the TransWilts service, and how do you expect anyone to actually make use of your service."

It's really very depressing indeed; we're 21 months into the franchise, and we now understand what "Transforming Travel" means.

P.S. As nothing has run yet, I am - yet again - giving the TOC (Train Operating Company) the benefit of the doubt and hoping that the 19:35 from Westbury actually shows!  And this on a line where experts consider that something around an hourly sevice is the appropriate level!

If the excuse of no unit is genuine, then I wouldn't hold your hopes up!
