I think its more likely thats the sun reflecting off the junction indicator lenses. Those were very very prone to phantom aspects.
If they were true phantoms, I would have expected route 2 to light up as well; at least the inboard light.
A Position 2 Junction Indicator is better shielded and the sun would need to be much lower to cause a phantom aspect. I still think the sun is reflecting off the 'close up' segments of the glass lenses. If thats an AEI-GRS Junction Indicator (looks like one to me), they had conical lenses that reflected light making them appear to be lit when in daylight. Seen that pleanty of times over the years....
