I heard of this when I was changing trains at Bristol Parkway having just come off a Class 800 from Newport. When I got to
BPW» they had just taken off a load of passengers from a Gloucester-bound service on Platform 4 and said that they were going to tow the damaged train through Platform 4 as that was the only way they could take it. Thoughts to the driver of the train involved as well as the family of the deceased.
I can't help wondering how much damage was done to the train, and how so, if the driver was physically injured but I realise that the damage to the train is not important here.
