I heard on the news this morning about the testing that has been done on trains and at stations for Covid.

Will this be enough to give confidence to the traveling public, and hopefully mean an increase in passenger traffic (and presumably reduction in government subsidy)?

I’m sure it will help, and leisure traffic is now recovering quickly…at near pre-pandemic levels on some routes.  Some will no doubt remain cautious though.

My main reservation remains: the "aerosol" risk from other passengers, especially when the carriage is more than half-full.
